He then used AI face-swapping software to log into the financial platform payment accounts of 23 victims using facial recognition, illegally changing the payment passwords and mobile phone numbers of five people, and used the account of one person to purchase two mobile phones for a total of 15,996 yuan. He was later apprehended by police. Ultimately, the court sentenced Fu to four years and six months in prison for both the crimes of violating citizens' personal information and credit card fraud. He was also ordered to pay 15,996 yuan in public interest damages, delete all stored personal information, and publicly apologize in national news media.
