On July 23, Cover News reporters learned from the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Department's Cyber Security Protection Corps that in response, Sichuan Internet police took active action to severely crack down on AI-related online rumors and announced 10 typical cases of AI rumor-mongering.

At present, the public security organs of Guangyuan, Sichuan have imposed administrative penalties on Yang Moumou in accordance with the law.

The earthquake caused a large number of house damages and casualties, and the disaster was serious." After investigation, it was found that a 5.0-magnitude earthquake occurred in Liangshan on May 27, with the epicenter in Muli County. There were no casualties, but some houses were damaged. In order to attract attention and gain traffic, the offender Luo used AI software to generate false earthquake disaster pictures and spread false information on a short video platform. At present, the public security organs of Liangshan, Sichuan have imposed administrative penalties on Luo in accordance with the law.

After learning about the relevant pictures online, the offender Shang Moumou, in order to attract attention, gain traffic and benefits, used "AI Qianwen" to generate false information titled "A thrilling "banknote war" in Bazhong City, the confrontation between police and citizens caused a sensation, who will be the winner" without verification, and published it, misleading netizens, causing social panic and disrupting public order. At present, the public security organs of Bazhong, Sichuan have imposed administrative penalties on Shang Moumou in accordance with the law.

After investigation, it was found that the picture in the article came from a video of a foreign blogger rescuing a homeless elderly person in a foreign country, and the "Old Man Li" in the article was also far away on the other side of the ocean. In order to attract traffic and gain attention, the offender Zhang used an AI program at home and combined his own "thoughts and ideas" to fabricate and publish this false article. At present, the public security organs in Chengdu, Sichuan have imposed administrative penalties on Zhang in accordance with the law.

"After investigation, it was found that the offender Zhou Mou developed the "Emerald Pen and Ink" AI tool and supporting management system that can automatically compile articles, and recruited volunteers to create a work group, requiring volunteers to provide platform accounts, and the management system developed by him to log in to the account on their behalf. Zhou Mou then used the AI tool to automatically generate relevant articles, which were automatically saved to the "draft box" of the volunteer platform account through the management system, and tasks were released through the work group, and volunteers manually released them from the "draft box" through their mobile phones. Since November 2023, Zhou Mou has obtained more than 300 related accounts through recruitment (all of which have been closed), and used AI tools to fabricate about 420,000 pieces of information (all of which have been deleted). At present, the public security organs of Dazhou, Sichuan Province have imposed administrative penalties on Zhou Mou in accordance with the law.

After investigation, it was found that after the offender Chen saw the news of "Chongqing bus lost control and fell into the river, 10 died and 2 were injured", in order to attract attention and gain traffic, he synthesized it through AI software and tampered with the content to "Chengdu Longquanyi bus lost control and fell into the river, 10 died and 2 were injured" and then posted it on the Internet, which had a negative social impact. At present, the public security organs in Chengdu, Sichuan have imposed administrative penalties on Chen in accordance with the law.

At present, the public security organs of Mianyang, Sichuan have imposed administrative penalties on Wang and Liu in accordance with the law.

In May, the netizen posted a picture video with a banner that read "Let the whole village get pregnant with a second child, it is the unshirkable responsibility of the village party secretary." Upon investigation, the above videos were generated by AI editing and are all false information. At present, the public security organs in Chengdu, Sichuan have imposed administrative penalties on Wang in accordance with the law.
The Internet police remind that the public security organs will resolutely and strictly deal with the acts of fabricating and spreading false information on the Internet, deliberately distorting facts, fabricating and spreading rumors, and disturbing public order.
